Carmine Cozzolino was born in Calabria and raised in Florence, which is the heart of Tuscany’s culinary scene. In 1987 he revolutionized Italian cuisine in Japan by becoming the first Italian chef to open a restaurant. His authentic and affordable meals offered in an unpretentious, truly Italian atmosphere was warmly accepted and now twenty years later the Carmine group operates five restaurants.
