Situated along the Zenpukuji River which originates from the Zenpukuji Pond in Suginami Ward, Zenpukujigawa Green Park is an ideal place to spend a sunny afternoon.
There are several play areas for children, two baseball grounds and a lenghty running course that follow the narrow Zenpukuji River. Spring and autumn are the best times to visit and enjoy the colourful landscape.
If you have children, be sure to stop by the Suginami Children's Traffic Park (Suginami Jidou Koutsu Koen), and allow the kids to cycle around a miniature city, complete with traffic lights but minus the cars.
