Sin Den, Hair Salon in Omotesando (Gaienmae), Tokyo
Sin Den, Hair Salon in Omotesando (Gaienmae), Tokyo
Make the cut at Sin Den!
Go to a bad hairdresser for the shock of your life. Book at Sin Den if you prefer your special effects to be professional, artistic, and kind to your “do.” The scissor-hands at Sin Den can get you ready for a fashion shoot, do you right for Saturday night, fix a botched color job, even extract a hair curler from your top.
Operating entirely in English, Sin Den’s stylists have all worked or lived overseas; so it’s not a Japanese salon but an international salon in Japan. They use a mix of Japanese and foreign products, but in a foreign way, important because the intense pigments in Japanese hair-colour products are designed for black hair and thus often have different results on lighter-coloured Western hair.
Designed to accommodate the most creative stylists and maximize your comfort and experience, Sin Den’s shop is one of a kind. Its two exposed walls are engulfed all over in black paint featuring an elegant hand-painted mural that suits its Ura-Hara location. Ura-Hara, the name given to the back streets of Harajuku and Omotesando, is famous for its creative independent fashion design shops. And may have made the artistic adventure to visit us. From Yoko Ono, Janet Jackson’s Dancers, Sting to visitors passing through and long time residents of Tokyo, customers have come to trust the Sin Den brand for a haircut or colour that is equally manageable as it is wicked!
Chic personality!
